Objectively invalid; preoccupied by Parabatrachus Owen 1853 in fossil fishes, replaced by Perulibatrachus Roux & Whitley 1972. •In the synonymy of Perulibatrachus Roux & Whitley 1972 -- (Greenfield et al. 2008:684 [ref. 30046]). 1°Homonym. Current status: Synonym of Perulibatrachus Roux & Whitley 1972. Batrachoididae: Halophryninae.
