Apparently objectively invalid; preoccupied by Plagusia Latreille 1804 in Crustacea. •Synonym of Symphurus Rafinesque 1810 -- (Torchio 1973:635 [ref. 6892], Fricke et al. 2023:25 [ref. 40708]). 1°Homonym. Current status: Synonym of Symphurus Rafinesque 1810. Cynoglossidae: Symphurinae.
