Harpodon Cuvier [G.] 1829:footnote on 314 Masc. Salmo microps Lesueur 1825. Original genus should have been Harpadon. Apparently an incorrect subsequent spelling of Harpadon Lesueur 1825, misquoted by Cuvier as Harpodon. •In the synonymy of Harpadon Lesueur 1825 -- (Kottelat 2013:270 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Synonym of Harpadon Lesueur 1825. Synodontidae: Harpadontinae.
