Paratypes: HUMZ 167353 (1), 189134 (1). Males unknown. •Valid as Acentrophryne dolichonema Pietsch & Shimazaki 2005 -- (Pietsch 2009:485 [ref. 30766]). Current status: Valid as Acentrophryne dolichonema Pietsch & Shimazaki 2005. Linophrynidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific off Peru (3 specimens). Habitat: marine. longidens, Acentrophryne Regan [C. T.] 1926:23, Pl. 1 (fig. 2) [Danish Dana Expedition 1920-22 in the North Atlantic and the Gulf of Panama, Oceanographical Reports. v. 1 (no. 2); ref. 3679] Gulf of Panama (Pacific), 7°30'N, 79°19'W, Dana station 1203, about 1250 meters (2500 meters wire out), over bottom depth of 2550 meters. Holotype (unique): ZMUC P921981. Type catalog: Nielsen 1974:98 [ref. 9588]. Males unknown. •Valid as Acentrophryne longidens Regan 1926 -- (Pietsch & Lavenberg 1980:908 [ref. 6913], Pietsch & Shimazaki 2005:247 [ref. 28236], Castellanos-Galindo et al. 2006:202 [ref. 28944], Pietsch 2009:484 [ref. 30766]). Current status: Valid as Acentrophryne longidens Regan 1926. Linophrynidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific (2 specimens). Habitat: marine. |
