Paratypes: (3). •Valid as Annamia thuathienensis Nguyen 2006, as a species inquirenda -- (Kottelat 2012:57 [ref. 32367], Kottelat 2013:191 [ref. 32989], Taki et al. 2021:228 [ref. 39830]). Current status: Valid as Annamia thuathienensis Nguyen 2006. Gastromyzontidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Bô River drainage, Thua Thiên Province, central Vietnam. Habitat: freshwater.
