Described as a species and subspecies. •Valid as Bathyaploactis curtisensis Whitley 1933 -- (Poss & Eschmeyer 1978:405 [ref. 6387], Paxton et al. 1989:460 [ref. 12442], Poss 1999:2357 [ref. 24796], Johnson 1999:728 [ref. 25471], Mandrytsa 2001:272 [ref. 25636], Hutchins 2001:28 [ref. 25847], Allen et al. 2006:913 [ref. 29066], Larson et al. 2013:86 [ref. 32988]). Current status: Valid as Bathyaploactis curtisensis Whitley 1933. Synanceiidae: Aploactininae. Distribution: Australia. Habitat: marine. ornatissimus, Bathyaploactis curtisensis Whitley [G. P.] 1933:103, Pl. 13 (fig. 2) [Records of the Australian Museum v. 19 (no. 1); ref. 4677] Northwestern Australia. Holotype: AMS IA.4234. Paratypes: AMS IA.4235 (1) •See Johnson 1999:728 [ref. 25471]. •Valid as Karumba ornatissimus (Whitley 1933) -- (Poss & Eschmeyer 1978:405 [ref. 6387], Paxton et al. 1989:460 [ref. 12442], Mandrytsa 2001:271 [ref. 25636], Hutchins 2001:28 [ref. 25847]). •Valid as Bathyaploactis ornatissima Whitley 1933 -- (Poss 1999:2357 [ref. 24796], Johnson 2004:180 [ref. 27781], Allen et al. 2006:913 [ref. 29066], Larson et al. 2013:86 [ref. 32988]). Current status: Valid as Bathyaploactis ornatissima Whitley 1933. Synanceiidae: Aploactininae. Distribution: Australia. Habitat: marine. |
