Current status: Synonym of Caenotropus labyrinthicus (Kner 1858). Chilodidae. Habitat: freshwater.

Current status: Valid as Caenotropus schizodon Scharcansky & Lucena 2007. Chilodidae. Distribution: Tapajós River drainage, Brazil and Colombia. Habitat: freshwater.
