Holotype: MZUSP 42465. Paratypes: AMNH 94440 (1), MZUSP 42466 (13, 3 c&s). Type catalog: Ferraris 2007:405 [ref. 29155]. •Valid as Glaphyropoma rodriguesi de Pinna 1992 -- (Bizerril 1994:624 [ref. 22673], Burgess & Finley 1996:167 [ref. 22901], Campanario & de Pinna 2000:370 [ref. 25080], de Pinna & Wosiacki in Reis et al. 2003:273 [ref. 27061], Ferraris 2007:405 [ref. 29155], Bichuette et al. 2008:301 [ref. 29835], de Pinna et al. 2018:[8] [ref. 35972], Silva et al. 2020:12 [ref. 37809], Vieira-Guimarães et al. 2024:49 [ref. 41258]). Current status: Valid as Glaphyropoma rodriguesi de Pinna 1992. Trichomycteridae: Copionodontinae. Distribution: South America: Mucujê River, tributary of Paraguaçu River, Bahia State (Brazil). Habitat: freshwater. spinosum, Glaphyropoma Bichuette [M. E.], de Pinna [M. C. C.] & Trajano [E.] 2008:302, Figs. 1-6 [Neotropical Ichthyology v. 6 (no. 3); ref. 29835] Chapada Diamantina, Município de Andaraí, Povoado de Igatu, Gruna dos Torras, rio Paraguaçu drainage, 12°52'40.4"S, 41°18'43.3"W, State of Bahia, Brazil. Holotype: MZUSP 99742. Paratypes: MZUSP 99743 (4, 1 c&s). Combined with a feminine genus, the adjective should be spinosa. •Valid as Glaphyropoma spinosa Bichuette, de Pinna & Trajano 2008 -- (de Pinna et al. 2018:[8] [ref. 35972] as spinosum, Silva et al. 2020:12 [ref. 37809] as spinosum, Vieira-Guimarães et al. 2024:49 [ref. 41258] as spinosum). Current status: Valid as Glaphyropoma spinosa Bichuette, de Pinna & Trajano 2008. Trichomycteridae: Copionodontinae. Distribution: South America: subterranean waters, Paraguaçu River drainage, Diamantina Plateau, Bahia State (Brazil). Habitat: freshwater. |
