Distribution: Soutzheast Asia, East Asia: Irrawaddy River drainage, Myanmar and China and Brahmaputra River drainage (China). IUCN (2010): Data Deficient. H.] & Kottelat [M.] 2022:262, Fig. 1 [Ichthyology & Herpetology v. 110 (no. 2); ref. 39522] Sin Lal Chaung, a small stream in limestone area about 14 km east of Ywangan, Ywangan Township (Danu Autonomous Zone), Shan State, Myanmar, 21°11'23"N, 96°33'18"E, elevation about 1,190 meters. Holotype: MHNG 2786.064. Paratypes: CMK 28568 (3), ZRC 62092 (1). •Valid as Glaridoglanis ramosa Ng & Kottelat 2022. Current status: Valid as Glaridoglanis ramosa Ng & Kottelat 2022.
