Current status: Synonym of Glyptauchen panduratus (Richardson 1850). Synanceiidae: Tetraroginae. Habitat: marine. insidiator, Glyptauchen Whitley [G. P.] 1931:118, Pl. 14 [Records of the Australian Museum v. 18 (no. 3); ref. 4673] Kurnell, Botany Bay, New South Wales, Australia. Holotype (unique): AMS IA.4634. •Valid as Glyptauchen insidiator Whitley 1931 -- (Paxton et al. 1989:441 [ref. 12442]). •Synonym of Glyptauchen panduratus (Richardson 1850) -- (Gomon et al. 1994:479 [ref. 22532], Allen et al. 2006:899 [ref. 29078]).
