Current status: Valid as Ivanacara adoketa (Kullander & Prada-Pedreros 1993). Cichlidae: Cichlinae. Distribution: Middle Negro River drainage, Amazon basin, Brazil. Habitat: freshwater. bimaculata, Nannacara Eigenmann [C. H.] 1912:488, Pl. 66 (fig. 1) [Memoirs of the Carnegie Museum v. 5 (no. 1); ref. 1227] Erukin, Guyana.
