This species is in competition with Kali colubrina Melo 2008 [11 April]; Prokoliev 2011:809 [ref. 32472] argues for caribbaea on 2/04/2008. •Synonym of Kali colubrina Melo 2008 -- (Melo 2010:56 [ref. 30939]). •Valid as Kali caribbaea Prokofiev 2008 -- (Prokofiev 2011:809 [ref. 32472]).
