H.] 1975:64, Figs. 4, 5A-B [Copeia 1975 (no. 1); ref. 6266] Northern central Pacific [northeast of Hawaiian Islands], 30°39.1'N, 155°23.4'W [or 30°39.2'N, 155°18.1'W], depth 0-1350 meters over bottom at 5661 meters. Holotype: SIO 72-373. •Valid as Lasiognathus waltoni Nolan & Rosenblatt 1975 -- (Bertelsen & Pietsch 1996:406 [ref. 22152], Pietsch 2005:77 [ref. 28091], Mundy 2005:273 [ref. 28379], Pietsch 2009:370 [ref. 30766], Pietsch & Sutton 2015:432 [ref. 33843]). Current status: Valid as Lasiognathus waltoni Nolan & Rosenblatt 1975. Oneirodidae. Distribution: Central Pacific: northeast of Hawaiian Islands (known only from holotype). Habitat: marine.
