Holotype: MCNG 54798. Paratypes: ANSP 182802 (1), AUM 39473 (2, 1 c&s). •Valid as Pseudancistrus yekuana Lujan, Armbruster & Sabaj Pérez 2007 -- (Willink et al. 2010:41 [ref. 30670]). •Valid as Lithoxancistrus yekuana (Lujan, Armbruster & Sabaj Pérez 2007) -- (Lujan et al. 2015:278 [ref. 33495], Lujan et al. 2018:[7] 1175 [ref. 36081]). Current status: Valid as Lithoxancistrus yekuana (Lujan, Armbruster & Sabaj Pérez 2007). Loricariidae: Hypostominae. Distribution: South America: Río Ventuari (Venezuela). Habitat: freshwater.
