Paratypes: USNM 204080 (2). •Valid as Mesogobio lachneri Bănărescu & Nalbant 1973 -- (Zhu 1995:77 [ref. 25213], Naseka 1996:157 [ref. 22943], Kim 1997:236 [ref. 24032], Yue in Chen et al. 1998:283 [ref. 23878], Kim & Park 2002:144 [ref. 25913], Choi et al. 2003:157, 509 [ref. 26218], Zhang et al. 2016:74 [ref. 34477]). Current status: Valid as Mesogobio lachneri Bănărescu & Nalbant 1973. Gobionidae. Distribution: Eastern Asia: Yalu River at China-North Korea boundary. Habitat: freshwater.
