Current status: Valid as Parastremma album Dahl 1960. Acestrorhamphidae: Rhoadsiinae. Distribution: South America: Sandó River basin, Pacific versant of Colombia. Habitat: freshwater.

Type catalog: Cala 1981:3 [ref. 23525], Mojica & Agudelo-Zamora 2018:21 [ref. 36127]. •Valid as Parastremma pulchrum Dahl 1960 -- (Cardoso in Reis et al. 2003:213 [ref. 27061], Agudelo-Zamora et al. 2014:196 [ref. 34883] misspelled as pulcra, DoNascimiento et al. 2017:46 [ref. 35633]). Current status: Valid as Parastremma pulchrum Dahl 1960. Acestrorhamphidae: Rhoadsiinae. Distribution: Atrato River basin in Atlantic versant of Colombia. Habitat: freshwater.
