Current status: Valid as Pectenocypris balaena Roberts 1989. Danionidae: Rasborinae. Distribution: Borneo. Habitat: freshwater.

Holotype: MZB 10093 [? 10993]. Paratypes: CMK 11248 (40); MZB 6001 (10); ZRC 38675 (48), 51758 (46). Plus non-type material. •Valid as Pectenocypris micromysticetus Tan & Kottelat 2009 -- (Kottelat 2013:140 [ref. 32989], Wibowo et al. 2016:138 [ref. 34796], Ahnelt et al. 2019:7 [ref. 37025]). Current status: Valid as Pectenocypris micromysticetus Tan & Kottelat 2009. Danionidae: Rasborinae. Distribution: Batang Hari drainage, Sumatra, Indonesia. Habitat: freshwater.

S.] 2016:138, Figs. 2-4 [Acta Biologica Turcica v. 29 (no. 4); ref. 34796] Peat swamp, river and peat lakes ‘Teluk Kapal’, Serkap river system, aproximately 90 km east of Pelalawan, Riau province, Central Sumatra, Indonesia, 00°25'42''N, 102°38'45''E. Holotype: MZB 22149. Paratypes: MZB, NMW. •Valid as Pectenocypris nigra Wibowo, Ahnelt & Kertamihardja 2016 -- (Ahnelt et al. 2019:7 [ref. 37025]). Current status: Valid as Pectenocypris nigra Wibowo, Ahnelt & Kertamihardja 2016. Danionidae: Rasborinae. Distribution: Serkap River system, Central Sumatra, Indonesia. Habitat: freshwater.

Danionidae: Rasborinae. Distribution: Peat lakes in upper Serkap River system, Central Sumatra, Indonesia. Habitat: freshwater.
