Supradiscus varidiscus Thoni & Arrindell 2025 was preoccupied by Placogobio basipunctatus Endruweit 2025 by a few days, the former appeared 23 Sept. 2025, the latter 20 Sept. 2025. •Synonym of Placogobio basipunctatus Endruweit 2025 -- (M. Endruweit, pers. comm., Oct. 2025). Current status: Synonym of Placogobio basipunctatus Endruweit 2025. Cyprinidae: Labeoninae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Lo River drainage, Red River basin, Ha Giang Province (Vietnam) [if valid]. Habitat: freshwater.
