Plus non-type material. •Valid as Potamoglanis wapixana (Henschel 2016) -- (Henschel et al. 2018:49 [ref. 35657], Henschel & Lujan 2021:[3] [ref. 38536], Taphorn et al. 2022:57 [ref. 41297]). Current status: Valid as Potamoglanis wapixana (Henschel 2016). Trichomycteridae: Potamoglanidinae. Distribution: South America: Branco and Essequibo River drainages (Brazil and Guyana).
