Paratypes: FMNH, MZUSP, ZUEC. •Valid as Probolodus oyakawai Santos & Castro 2014. •Valid as Deuterodon oyakawai (Santos & Castro 2014) -- (Terán et al. 2020:7 [ref. 37440]). Current status: Valid as Deuterodon oyakawai (Santos & Castro 2014). Acestrorhamphidae: Stygichthyinae. Distribution: Rio Ribeira de Iguape basin, Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.
