Paratypes: AMNH 22714 (130, 4 c&s), 22715 (55, now 53); UMMZ 190112 (6). •Valid as Scolichthys greenwayi Rosen 1967 -- (Lucinda in Reis et al. 2003:572 [ref. 27061], Lucinda & Reis 2005:41 [ref. 29205], Meyer 2015:353 [ref. 34698], Huber 2019:140 [ref. 36941], Barrientos et al. 2023:274 [ref. 41235]). Current status: Valid as Scolichthys greenwayi Rosen 1967. Poeciliidae: Poeciliinae. Distribution: Central America: Chixoy and Salinas River basins, Alta Verapaz (Guatemala) endemic. Habitat: freshwater.
