Current status: Valid as Stlengis distoechus Bolin 1936. Psychrolutidae. Distribution: Western North Pacific. Habitat: marine. misakia, Schmidtia Jordan [D. S.] & Starks [E. C.] 1904:237, Fig. 2 [Proceedings of the United States National Museum v. 27 (no. 1358); ref. 2528] Off Manazuru Point, Sagami Bay, Japan, Albatross station 3698, depth 153 fathoms. Holotype: USNM 50913. Paratypes: CAS-SU 7506 (1). Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:132 [ref. 12291]. Types: Shinohara & Williams 2006:557 [ref. 31656]. •Valid as Stlengis misakia (Jordan & Starks 1904) -- (Watanabe 1960:35 [ref. 11959], Yamakawa in Okamura et al. 1982:291, 403 [ref. 8256], Yabe in Masuda et al. 1984:325 [ref. 6441], Nakabo 2000:630 [ref. 25086], Shinohara et al. 2001:319 [ref. 25995], Nakabo 2002:630 [ref. 26001], Sonoyama et al. 2020:91 [ref. 37637]). Current status: Valid as Stlengis misakia (Jordan & Starks 1904). Psychrolutidae. Distribution: Northwestern Pacific: southern and central Japan. Habitat: marine. osensis, Stlengis Jordan [D.
