(2). •Valid as Travancoria elongata Pethiyagoda & Kottelat 1994 -- (Aijthkumar et al. 1999:249 [ref. 24211], Menon 1999:195 [ref. 24904], Kottelat 2012:56 [ref. 32367], Bleher 2018:112 [ref. 36647], Sidhartan et al. 2021:81 [ref. 38132]). Current status: Valid as Travancoria elongata Pethiyagoda & Kottelat 1994. Balitoridae. Distribution: South Asia: Periyar and Chalakudy River drainages, Western Ghats (southern India). Habitat: freshwater.
