Holotype: SWU 2019051309. Paratypes: SWU 2019051301-308 (8). •Valid as Triplophysa wulongensis Chen, Sheraliev, Shu & Peng 2021 -- (Deng et al. 2022:1 [ref. 39345], Lan et al. 2024:246 [ref. 41619]). •Valid as Claea wulongensis (Chen, Sheraliev, Shu & Peng 2021) -- (Zhang et al. 2024:413 [ref. 41686], Lei et al. 2025:690 [ref. 42006], Zhu et al. 2025:1389 [ref. 42306]). Current status: Valid as Claea wulongensis (Chen, Sheraliev, Shu & Peng 2021). Nemacheilidae. Distribution: East Asia: underground system, Wujiang River drainage, Yangtze River basin, Chongqing and Guizhou Provinces, China. Habitat: freshwater.
