Holotype: IHASW 81-XII-1117. Paratypes: IHASW 81-XII-1114 to 1116 (3), -1118 to -1123 (6). •Valid as Xenocyprioides carinatus Chen & Huang 1985 -- (Zhu 1995:43 [ref. 25213], Liu & He in Chen et al. 1998:210 [ref. 23878], Zhang et al. 2016:65 [ref. 34477]). Current status: Valid as Xenocyprioides carinatus Chen & Huang 1985. Xenocyprididae. Distribution: China. Habitat: freshwater.

Paratypes: IHASW 75VI0853-0859 (7). •Valid as Xenocyprioides parvulus Chen 1982 -- (Zhu 1995:43 [ref. 25213], Liu & He in Chen et al. 1998:209 [ref. 23878], Yue & Chen 1998:98 [ref. 26415] as Xenocyprinoides, Kottelat 2013:171 [ref. 32989], Zhang et al. 2016:65 [ref. 34477]). Current status: Valid as Xenocyprioides parvulus Chen 1982. Xenocyprididae. Distribution: China. Habitat: freshwater.
