Paratypes: MRAC 75-24-P-7-12 (6), 75-24-P-122 (1), 75-24-P-394-95 (2). •Valid as Paramormyrops gabonensis Taverne, Thys van den Audenaerde & Heymer 1977 -- (Gosse 1984:107 [ref. 6169], Hopkins et al. 2007:301 [ref. 30019], Rich et al. 2017:[13] [ref. 35306], Fermon et al. 2022:124 [ref. 39448]). Current status: Valid as Paramormyrops gabonensis Taverne, Thys van den Audenaerde & Heymer 1977. Mormyridae. Distribution: West Africa: southern Cameroon and Gabon. Habitat: freshwater.
