Syntypes: whereabouts unknown. As Coregonus chavary in main heading, as chadary in Table and on Pl. 17 (fig. 8); misspelled chadari in literature. •Valid as Coregonus chadary Dybowski 1869 -- (Berg 1948:410 [ref. 12882], Zhu 1995:12 [ref. 25213], Reshetnikov et al. 1997:731 [ref. 24702], Reshetnikov 1998:42 [ref. 23570], Bogutskaya et al. 2001:45 [ref. 26178], Bogutskaya & Naseka 2004:137 [ref. 28183], Kottelat 2006:20 [ref. 28831], Ocock et al. 2006:49 [ref. 28933], Bogutskaya et al. 2008:344 [ref. 30085], Zhang et al. 2016:188 [ref. 34477]). Current status: Valid as Coregonus chadary Dybowski 1869. Salmonidae: Coregoninae. Distribution: Russia, Mongolia and China. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.
