Type catalog: Böhlke 1953:13 [ref. 12291]. •Valid as Prosopium spilonotus (Snyder 1919) -- (Lee et al. 1980:101 [ref. 22416], Page & Burr 1991:46 [ref. 18983], Sigler & Sigler 1996:198 [ref. 25943], Broughton 2000:649 [ref. 24593] as cf. spilonotus, Nelson et al. 2004:86 [ref. 27807], Scharpf 2006:32 [ref. 30386], Page & Burr 2011:393 [ref. 31215], Page et al. 2013:87 [ref. 32708], Page et al. 2023:83 [ref. 40505]). Current status: Valid as Prosopium spilonotus (Snyder 1919). Salmonidae: Coregoninae. Distribution: North America: Bear Lake, Utah/Idaho (U.S.A.). Habitat: freshwater.
