copei, Aleposomus Gill [T. N.] 1884:433 [American Naturalist v. 18 (no. 4); ref. 1728] Gulf Stream off South Atlantic states, 37°l2'20"N, 69°39'W, Albatross station 2099, depth 2949 fathoms. Holotype (unique): USNM 33551.
