Type catalog: Ibarra & Stewart 1987:35 [ref. 12367]. •Valid as Evermannella ahlstromi Johnson & Glodek 1975 -- (Johnson 1982:126 [ref. 5519], Swinney 1994:809 [ref. 22031], Love et al. 2005:42 [ref. 37547], Castellanos-Galindo et al. 2006:253 [ref. 28944], Love et al. 2021:62 [ref. 39279], Page et al. 2023:93 [ref. 40505]). Current status: Valid as Evermannella ahlstromi Johnson & Glodek 1975. Evermannellidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Pacific coast of northern Baja California (Mexico) south to Peru, including Galapagos Islands (Ecuador). Habitat: marine.
