Holotype: USNM 99508. Paratypes: USNM 99509-10 (1, 1). •Synonym of Ipnops agassizii Garman 1899 -- (Sulak 1990:359 [ref. 15106]). •Valid as Ipnops pristibrachium (Fowler 1943) -- (Chen 2002:97 [ref. 26587]). Current status: Valid as Ipnops pristibrachium (Fowler 1943). Ipnopidae. Distribution: Indonesia. Habitat: marine.
