Current status: Valid as Lampanyctus idostigma Parr 1931. Myctophidae: Lampanyctinae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Pacific coast of central Baja California (Mexico) south to Chile, including Galapagos Islands (Ecuador). Habitat: marine.
