Paratypes: AHF-USC (2 lots); BMNH 1964.6.17.1 (1); CAS 54300 (2), 162137 (1); MCZ 45200 (1); MMF (1 lot); RMNH 25121 (1); SIO (22 lots); CAS-SU 62137 (1), USNM 198162 (3). •Valid as Parvilux ingens Hubbs & Wisner 1964 -- (Paxton 1979:14 [ref. 6440], Matarese et al. 1989:170 [ref. 26885], Love et al. 2005:46 [ref. 37547], Burton & Lea 2019:46 [ref. 37205], Love et al. 2021:71 [ref. 39279], Page et al. 2023:97 [ref. 40505]). Current status: Valid as Parvilux ingens Hubbs & Wisner 1964. Myctophidae: Lampanyctinae. Distribution: Northeastern Pacific: Oregon (U.S.A.) south to Pacific coast of northern Baja California (Mexico), including Guadalupe Island (Mexico). Habitat: marine.
