M.] & Radcliffe [L.] in Radcliffe 1912:120, Pl. 26 (fig. 3) [Proceedings of the United States National Museum v. 43 (no. 1924); ref. 3578] Gulf of Tomini, 0°08'00"S, 121°19'00"E, Sulawesi, Indonesia, Albatross station 5608, depth 1089 fathoms. Holotype: USNM 72937 (18.8 cm). Paratypes: USNM 78237 (1). First author is H. M. Smith. •Valid as Coryphaenoides aequatoris (Smith & Radcliffe 1912) -- (Iwamoto in Cohen et al. 1990:201 [ref. 18936], Iwamoto 1999:1991 [ref. 24761]). •Questionably a synonym of Coryphaenoides asprellus (Smith & Radcliffe 1912) -- (Shcherbachev & Iwamoto 1995:287 [ref. 22071]). Current status: Valid as Coryphaenoides aequatoris (Smith & Radcliffe 1912). Macrouridae. Distribution: Gulf of Tomini, Indonesia. Habitat: marine.
