Syntypes: MCZ 28573 (?), 28574 (?). Current status: Valid as Nezumia convergens (Garman 1899). Macrouridae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Gulf of California (Mexico) south to Chile, including Cocos Island (Costa Rica) and Galápagos islands (Ecuador). Habitat: marine.
