blockii, Cyprinus Nau [B. S.] 1787:91 [Oekonomische Naturgeschichte der Fische in der Gegend um Mainz; ref. 18473] No types known. •Apparently the same as Cyprinus blockii Nau 1791 which is an unneeded new name for and objective synonym of Alburnoides bipunctatus (Bloch 1782) according to Kottelat 1997:44 [ref. 22952]. Current status: Synonym of Alburnoides bipunctatus (Bloch 1782). Leuciscidae: Leuciscinae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish.
