Name was spelled peruvianus in Knaack 1970:58 [ref. 25875]. •Valid as Pterolebias peruensis Myers 1954 -- (Ortega & Vari 1986:19 [ref. 9708]). •Valid as Aphyolebias peruensis (Myers 1954) -- (Costa 1998:78 [ref. 23792], Lazara 2001:5 [ref. 25711], Costa in Reis et al. 2003:526 [ref. 27061], Costa 2003:156 [ref. 27616]). •Valid as Moema peruensis (Myers 1954) -- (Valdesalici et al. 2015:129 [ref. 33902], Valdesalici 2016:66 [ref. 34174], Meza-Vargas et al. 2021:27 [ref. 39298]). Current status: Valid as Moema peruensis (Myers 1954). Rivulidae: Rivulinae. Distribution: South America: Marañón River floodplains, Amazon River basin (Peru). Habitat: freshwater.
