Holotype (unique): NRM 11099 [SYD/1902381.4106]. Originally as nordenskjöldii for Otto Nordenskjöld. Also appeared in Lönnberg 1905:58 [ref. 2839] as Melamphaës (Plectromus) nordenskjöldii with different locality.
