Paratypes: BMNH 1971.9.13.3-7 (6); USNM 205636 (1), 205637 [? = 271100] (4). •Valid as Barbus guildi Loiselle 1973 -- (Lévêque & Daget 1984:247 [ref. 6186], Lévêque in Lévêque et al. 1990:349 [ref. 21589], Pezold et al. 2016:104 [ref. 34870] as 'Barbus' cf. guildi). •Valid as Enteromius guildi (Loiselle 1973) -- (Yang et al. 2015:112 [ref. 33694], Hayes & Armbruster 2017:352 [ref. 35417]). Current status: Valid as Enteromius guildi (Loiselle 1973). Cyprinidae: Smiliogastrinae. Distribution: West Africa. Habitat: freshwater.
