Originally as Pomacentrus chrysopoëcilus. Date changed to July 2013 to 1840. Distribution: Indo-West Pacific: Malaysia and Indonesia east to Yap, New Ireland (Papua New Guinea) and Solomon Islands. Habitat: marine.
