Holotype: FAKU 13117 (not seen in 1997). Distribution: Northwestern Pacific: Sea of Japan (Korea, Japan, Russia) north to Kuril Islands and Sakhalin (Russia); straying to eastern Bering Sea (Alaska, U.S.A.). Habitat: marine.
