Type catalog: Springer & Anderson 1997:12 [ref. 22953]. •Valid as Chirolophis tarsodes (Jordan & Snyder 1902) -- (McAllister 1990:167 [ref. 14674], Mecklenburg et al. 2002:749 [ref. 25968], Mecklenburg & Sheiko 2004:17 [ref. 27604], Nelson et al. 2004:159 [ref. 27807], Page et al. 2013:163 [ref. 32708]). Current status: Valid as Chirolophis tarsodes (Jordan & Snyder 1902). Stichaeidae: Chirolophinae. Distribution: Eastern North Pacific: Sanak Islands and Gulf of Alaska to northern British Columbia. Habitat: marine.
