Misspelled palmicornis in literature. •Valid as Blennius parvicornis Valenciennes 1840 -- (Bath 1973:522 [ref. 7212]). •Valid as Parablennius parvicornis (Valenciennes 1836) -- (Zander in Whitehead et al. 1986:1108 [ref. 13677] [but possibly a subspecies of sanguinolentus (Pallas 1814)], Bath 1990:910 [ref. 19373], Bath 1996:91 [ref. 22687], Santos et al. 1997:100 [ref. 23531], Almada et al. 2005:289 [ref. 28398], Almada et al. 2005:519 [ref. 28599], Patzner et al. 2009:458 [ref. 30396], Wirtz et al. 2013:131 [ref. 32972], Williams & Springer in Carpenter & De Angelis 2016:2805 [ref. 34618], Carneiro et al. 2019:210 [ref. 37250], Carballo et al. 2021:64 [ref. 39250]).
