B, 1-2) [ref. 31989]. •Valid as Schindleria pietschmanni (Schindler 1931) -- (Johnson & Brothers 1993:441 [ref. 21803], Leu et al. 1999:72 [ref. 24098], Young & Chiu 2000:127 [ref. 25054] as pietschmenni, Larson 2001:3609 [ref. 26296], Watson & Walker 2004:139 [ref. 27773], Mundy 2005:483 [ref. 28379], Hoese & Bray 2006:1711 [ref. 29000], Randall 2007:412 [ref. 30952], Leu et al. 2008:15 [ref. 30150], Kon et al. 2011:62 [ref. 31622], Fricke & Abu El-Regal 2017:7 [1889] [ref. 35135], Fricke & Abu El-Regal 2017:[4] [35704], Fricke et al. 2018:346 [ref. 35805], Ahnelt & Sauberer 2018:100 [ref. 36360]). Current status: Valid as Schindleria pietschmanni (Schindler 1931). Schindleriidae. Distribution: Indo-West Pacific: South Africa, Madagascar and India east to Hawaiian Islands, north to Taiwan, south to northern Australia. Habitat: marine.
