Neotype: CAS-SU 41392. Neotype designated in Opinion 1388; name placed on Official List. Neotype described (Nakabo et al. 1991 [ref. 20070]). •Valid as Callionymus sagitta Pallas 1770 -- (Fricke 1982:66 [ref. 5432], Fricke 1983:258 [ref. 8349], Rainboth 1996:193 [ref. 22772], Fricke 1999:490 [ref. 24106], Fricke in Randall & Lim 2000:634 [ref. 25122], Fricke 2001:3566 [ref. 26292], Fricke 2002:39 [ref. 26547], Ng & Rainboth 2011:67 [ref. 31577], Ng 2012:32 [ref. 31795]). •Valid as Repomucenus sagitta (Pallas 1770) -- (Nakabo et al. 1991:255 [ref. 20070], Lee & Kim 1993:17 [ref. 23164], Youn 2002:390, 654 [ref. 26218], Manilo & Bogorodsky 2003:S117 [ref. 27377], Adrim et al. 2004:126 [ref. 27715], Kottelat 2013:386 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Valid as Callionymus sagitta Pallas 1770. Callionymidae. Distribution: Indo-West Pacific. Habitat: brackish, marine.
