Type catalog: Bauchot et al. 1991:55 [ref. 19958] as probably a Mugiloididae or Notothenioidei. •Valid as Heterogobius chiloensis (Guichenot 1848) -- (Pequeño 1989:66 [ref. 14125]). Current status: Valid as Heterogobius chiloensis (Guichenot 1848). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Chile. Habitat: marine.
