Distribution: Western Pacific: eastern Malaya (Malaysia), northern Sulawesi and Maluku (Indonesia) east to Palau and Vanuatu, north to China and Shizuoka Prefecture (Pacific coast of central Japan), south to Northern Territory (Australia). IUCN (2016): Least Concern. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
