rivulatus, Siganus Forsskål [P. S.] & Niebuhr [C.] in Forsskål 1775:25, x [Descriptiones animalium (Forsskål); ref. 1351] [Lohajæ] Al-Luhayya, Yemen, Red Sea. Lectotype: ZMUC P6689 (dry skin). Paralectotypes: ZMUC P6690 (dry skin). Type catalog: Nielsen 1974:72 [ref. 9588]. On p. x as rivulatus: nov. genus Siganus on p. 25 as "SCARUS siganus; rivulatus," the latter as two names for the same taxon; see Woodland 1990:17, 45 [ref. 19220] who regards Siganus as the intended generic name; also on p. 44 as Sc. [Scarus] dentibus Sidjan. Available by indication (ICZN Art. 12.2.2) from p. x, with diagnosis from p. 25 and 44 (see Fricke 2008:54 [ref. 320182]).
