On p. 35 of Bloch's Ichthyologie, v. 9 [ref. 21381]. •Valid as Ophiocara macrolepidota (Bloch 1792) -- (Maugé 1986:397 [ref. 6218], Fricke et al. 2018:320 [ref. 35805]). •Valid as Ophiocara macrolepidotum (Bloch 1792) -- (Parenti 2021:23 [ref. 38603]). •Possibly a species of Dormitator -- (Keith & Mennesson 2021:100 [ref. 38375]).
