Current status: Valid as Arripis georgiana (Valenciennes 1831). Arripidae. Distribution: Southeastern Indian Ocean, southwestern Pacific: New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia. Habitat: brackish, marine.
